"Ollie Trout's Trailer Park" - Acrylic on Canvas
Painting of Ollie Trout's Trailer Park in Florida. Derived from circa 1940's postcard.
Artist : James Morton
Ollie Trout's Trailer Park was located in Miami. It was “A De Luxe Trailer Park in Florida” – a luxurious camping spot during post-Depression America. The cost at $5 a day was the most expensive camping park at that time. Ollie guaranteed palm trees on every camping spot, and had "servants" racing from the clubhouse to the trailers, bringing cold drinks and sandwiches to guests. This painting features the spirit of that time - Dancing at Ollie Trout's Trailer Park.
