This unique draw-footbridge spans the entry to the Perkins Cove harbor. It is manually raised and lowered to permit high masted boats to enter and exit the harbor. Operation of the bridge is the duty of the Harbormaster. However, lobstermen and fishermen can perform the task - as well as countless visitors.
