Our canvas prints are locally handmade in our Massachusetts Art Studio. From start to finish, we color proof all of our work on our very own professional wide format EPSON printer. In this way, the prints always reflect the colors as the artists intended. Each print is hand signed, titled and printed in limited edition. The prints are hand stretched and stapled, by the artists using quality white pine stretcher bars.
Our premium quality canvas prints are produced on a fine art museum grade natural white canvas made of 2:1 poly/cotton blend with satin finish. This fine art canvas is acid-free which results in highest archival image quality and the longest life possible for the canvas prints. The prints are made with state of the art EPSON Archival Ultrachrome Pigmented Inks that have superior resistance to water, fading and smudging.
All canvas prints are coated with a UV protective Satin Finish. This Eco friendly coating is flexible and a water-based acrylic. Canvas Prints do not need to be placed under glass. This protective coating has been tested by Wilhelm Imaging Research and is shown shown to significantly increase the image life of the prints.
Under proper display conditions, the canvas prints could be passed on to other family members as an heirloom. Instructions are also provided, regarding the proper care of the prints to provide for their longevity.
Canvas prints are an eye-catching way to show off your art collection. Not only do they liven up any space, they’re an artistic way to update a room.
The Stretcher Bars we use are white pine, with slotted, double-mortised corners that provide excellent long-term stability. These stretcher bars and keys are “FCS certified”, which insures that the wood is sustainably and responsibly sourced.
The Digigraphs are a combination of numerous digital media. I do not use any apps to create these. These are a result of techniques I have been developing over the past 20 years. My Digigraph technique begins with making a specially prepared collage of digital photographs. Once satisfied with placement and composition of these images, the colors are transformed into a deliberately dynamic palette. The contours shadows and texture are also changed to suit the overall composition; making some images come forward and others recede. Transparent colors, and layers are added to create visual luminosity and depth. Lastly, hand-directed digital painting is added. The Digigraphs take the finished physical from of a Giclée Print and are not a "copy" or "reproduction" of an original painting or drawing etc. Each Digigraph is considered an "original print" similar to Fine Art traditional printmaking.
There currently is no distinct name for digitally based Fine Art or Art made through the use of digital tools and software on a computer. The name Digigraphy or "Digigraphie" is one term referenced more frequently in Europe to define high quality digitally based fine art prints created with an Epson printer and Giclée Printmaking.

Prints that are "Ready to Ship" are processed within 1 business day and shipped via USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail or FedEx.
Most prints (which are made on demand) are processed within in 3-5 business days. Then, the order is shipped via USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail or FedEx.
You will receive a confirmation/tracking number when the item ships.
If this item is a gift and you do not want a receipt packed with the order, please let us know before the order ships.
Return and Refund
We want you to be completely satisfied with your prints from Morton Arts, but if for any reason you're not, we offer a 14-business-day return period for your peace of mind. If you decide to return your print, simply pack it up in its original packaging in excellent condition, and we'll issue a full refund once we receive it.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, and if the item isn't returned in its original condition, there may be a loss in value that we'll need to consider. We know that returns can be a hassle, so we'll do everything we can to make the process as smooth as possible.

Our papers are 100% cotton mould-made, acid-free, lignin-free, and chlorine-free, which ensures long-term fade resistance. We also choose papers with a heavier weight, from 285g-315g, to give each print a thicker and more luxurious feel.
To ensure that our prints are of the utmost quality, we color-proof each print on our professional wide format EPSON printer.
